Community partners

Building on our established relationships and networks, we work closely with community organisations that champion the voices of those in mid-to-later life.

Our community partners

Our public and community partners include local, regional and national networks, each providing a range of opportunities for people to engage and participate in research activities.

Together with our community partners, we have co-developed a set of principles on how we want to work. These will help us to:

  • ensure inclusive and accessible opportunities to encourage involvement and participation;
  • work together to establish and maintain mutually beneficial and flexible collaborations;
  • provide opportunities and support for learning, skills and development;
  • enable ownership and nurture agency through clear governance and processes;
  • communicate with compassion and kindness, developing trust and confidence;
  • achieve collective impact through involvement and engagement good practice that seeks to improve the health and wellbeing of older people throughout mid-later life.

For more information on how we work with our community partners you can read our Public and Community Involvement and Engagement Framework (PDF).
