Background
The Department of Health and Social Care Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (SAGE) Social Care Working Group requested the Project Research Unit (PRU) undertook a rapid review of the effectiveness of personal protective equipment (PPE) in reducing the transmission of COVID-19 in health and social care settings.
Aims and objectives
To produce a briefing paper detailing the effectiveness of PPE in reducing the transmission of COVID-19 in health and social care settings.
